Program outcome (PO):

PO1. Engineering knowledge: Effective application of knowledge of mathematics, science and technical subjects;
PO2. Problem analysis: Identification, formulation and solving of problems using engineering knowledge or simulation;
PO3. Design/development of solutions: Design solution of engineering subsystems, systems and/or processes to meet specific needs;
PO4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Planning, design, analysis and interpretation of scientific, technical and economic data collected;
PO5. Modern tool usage: Use of techniques/tools including software in all disciplines, as may be required;
PO6. The Engineer and Society: Fulfillment of professional, social and ethical responsibilities;
PO7. Environment and sustainability: Good perception of the impact of solutions provided for developmental issues in a global/societal context;
PO8. Ethics: Good attitudes and skills in personnel management and maintenance of human relations, required in every ones working life;
PO9. Individual and team work: Capacity to function in multi/inter-disciplinary teams with aspirit of tolerance, patience and understanding so necessary for team work;
PO10. Communication: Effective communication skills and leadership/participation in team work;
PO11. Project management and finance: Better understanding and acceptance of professional, social, moral and ethical responsibilities and good knowledge of contemporary issues;
PO12. Life-long learning: Planning, development and implementation of strategies for life-long learning.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: Preparation: To prepare the students to excel in various educational programmes and to succeed in industry/ technical profession through further education/ training such as seminars, workshops, conferences etc;
PEO2: Core Competence: To provide the students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and Electronics and communication engineering fundamentals required to solve Electronics and communication engineering related problems;
PEO3: Breadth: To train the students with a breadth of scientific and Electronics and communication engineering knowledge to comprehend, analyze, design & create novel products and solutions for real life problems;
PEO4: Professionalism: To inculcate in the students professional/ ethical attitude, effective team work skills, multidisciplinary approach and to relate Electronics and communication engineering issues to a broader context;

PEO5: Learning Environment: To provide the students with academic environment of excellence, leadership, ethical guidelines and to encourage with achievement awards for productive career.
